Today we drove 2 hours to Edinburgh, visiting the Edinburgh Castle, eating chocolate milk shakes that would blow your mind, and took tourist pictures in the rain. I have to admit I am itching to take photos of people, I promised myself I would really give landscapes and architecture a shot, but I may just have to take a day to shoot some portraits.

Dear Jen Wheatley,
Sounds like you are having a phenomenal time. I know you've done alot of portraiture, but don't hold back. If you feel like photographing people do it. Photograph what inspires you. You're in Scottland! yeah the scenery is different, but the people are too. I think you will have plenty of time to photograph castles and landscape, after all they really aren't going anywhere. you can always go back. People are spontanious. You may miss something you'll never be able to catch again. And besides, just because you took pictures of people doesn't mean you can't take pictures of landscapes and abstract stuff too. You don't necessarily have to turn them in for a grade. I thin kif you watch people you'll be more inspired by the landscape too. Theres a connection. Well, have tons of fun! Say hi to Craig for me.
Jen!!!!
It looks like it is so rainy! I was in that exact same spot in Edinburgh a few weeks ago! That is so crazy. I hope it is getting warmer for you. How is everything going? I miss you tons!
