This photograph is what I see if I walk outside my hostel room and take about ten steps. We are so far north the sun sets about 10:30 PM. It's not fully dark until midnight and it starts getting light again around 3:30 AM. Stromness is the small town we are staying in, it has only one main road which is a one way street.
